Detel D1+ feature phone will be available for Rs 399

After the success of the D1, Detel is all geared up to launch D1+, specially designed for the visually impaired, senior citizens and kids with the introduction of “Talking feature”. Priced at Rs.399, the Detel D1+ will be exclusively available at B2BAdda.com, from 26th January, 2018, midnight.

Moving a step ahead in its vision to “Connect the Unconnected”, the brand has worked to uniquely benefit various sections of the society. Detel is the first brand to offer a talking feature and a wireless FM along with other interesting features at an affordable price. The talking feature utilizes the speaker at the rear to provide audio alerts while dialling a phone number, browsing contacts, etc.

The brand aims to target the 40 crore people in India who still remain unconnected not just with the rest of the world but also within themselves. After successfully penetrating into the feature-phone market with the Detel D1 which was launched to bring connectivity to every household, the brand has now worked harder to offer something that further strengthens the value proposition of its products.

The Detel D1+ comes with a dual-SIM slot, Big torchlight, with GPRS Web browser, a 3D speaker, Micro SD support for fast charging, and a big Torch Light. The device is available in 7 colour variants.

Commenting on the launch, Yogesh Bhatia, MD, S. G. Corporate Mobility (parent company of Detel), stated, “We are glad to bring to our customers a feature phone that is not only economical and affordable but also caters to a lot more needs of the feature-phone buyers in India. India is a price-sensitive market and the consumers especially in tier-2 and -3 markets, and in rural areas are cautious about their spending behaviour.”

“While urban population is increasingly growing tech-savvy, consumers from small towns and rural areas are still only marginally exposed to the technological advancements of the world,” he further added.
