The feature, first identified earlier this year during development, works by filtering out ambient noise such as traffic, wind, and other environmental disturbances in real time. This allows the speaker’s voice to remain clear without distortion, making conversations more seamless, particularly in noisy surroundings.

Feature design and functionality
According to reports, the noise cancellation option is integrated into the call interface and is enabled by default. The functionality is currently available to select Android beta users running specific app versions. It is designed to work independently, meaning that even if only one participant has enabled the feature, their voice will be transmitted more clearly to the other party. However, full call clarity improvements are achieved when both participants have the feature activated.
