Karan Johar Suffers Loss Worth Rs 20 Crore After Sacking Kartik Aaryan From 'Dostana 2'. Dharma Productions issued a statement to confirm Dostana 2's re-casting. Kartik Aaryan would no longer feature in the film co-starring Janhvi Kapoor.
"Kartik had shot for 20 days of 'Dostana 2' but now the film has to be restarted from scratch," a Filmfare report said. The actor was reportedly fired over unprofessional behaviour.
Karan Johar VOWS To Never Work With The Actor Again!
Kartik has been accused of ‘unprofessional behaviour’ and ‘interfering in the script’ even when the film went on floors several months ago. However, the loss suffered due to Kartik’s exit will affect the budget of ‘Dostana 2’.
As per the source says that, Kartik created problems while allocating his dates for the upcoming shoot of 'Dostana 2'. Dharma Productions conducted several rounds of meeting with KWAN, the agency that manages Kartik, for his dates. Despite the efforts, the production house was not getting a clear answer regarding Kartik’s choice of dates, which made Karan Johar angry.
