Sez Us, a next-generation social media platform built for healthy, respectful, and transparent online interactions, has officially launched in India after a successful debut in the United States. The platform aims to transform the social networking experience by removing anonymity, eliminating bots, and enabling authentic engagement between real people.

Unlike traditional, algorithm-driven social networks, Sez Us operates without addictive feeds designed for virality. Instead, it features a revolutionary reputation engine that empowers users to rate and prioritize the content they want to see while blocking unwanted posts and topics. This ensures civil conversations, promotes factual discussions, and minimizes misinformation, fake news, and toxic online behavior.

At the heart of Sez Us is a mission to solve four pressing problems in today’s digital world:

● Encouraging healthy, transparent dialogue instead of rage-driven feeds

● Ensuring real user verification to prevent bots, trolls, and fake accounts

● Granting digital ownership of identity, content, and followers to users

● Offering blockchain-based secure single sign-on via the Frequency Network, enabling a self-sovereign digital identity

This blockchain integration—developed with Project Liberty and the Frequency Network Foundation—gives members lifetime control over their content, followers, and data, ensuring none of it is sold or shared without consent.

According to Sez Us COO Akshay Gupta, India is at the forefront of a “tectonic shift from toxic social media to anti-toxic platforms,” making it a prime market for their launch. The platform mandates mobile number verification for registration, creating a bot-free environment—a crucial step, given that bots accounted for nearly 50% of global internet traffic in 2023 and India ranks high in misinformation prevalence.

Gupta cited startling global statistics:

● 33% of toxic content comes from just 3% of accounts

● 0.1% of users share 80% of fake news

● 74% of online conflict is driven by 1% of communities

Sez Us addresses these issues by giving users full control over their feed without storing browsing history or preferences, eliminating risks of data scraping and algorithmic manipulation.

Gupta added, “Our vision is to create a healthy, fair social media ecosystem in India, where creators and users thrive without manipulation or exploitation. We invite India’s vibrant creator community to join Sez Us and help shape the next-generation social economy.”

To strengthen its India presence, Sez Us has partnered with Thiagarajar College of Engineering, Madurai for internships and plans to invest heavily in building local communities focused on sports, entertainment, politics, and other interest areas. The platform also aims to empower content creators with a fairer economic model and long-term ownership of their audience.
