Mobile phone’s battery explodes in man’s hand during repairing

A video is going viral on social media in which a mobile phone’s battery exploded in flames while repairing. The incident occurred at a local mobile repairing shop in the Balaghat district of Madhya Pradesh.
In the viral video, a mechanic was checking the device, and suddenly it burst out and he threw it out of his shop as soon as it exploded. The shop owner did not suffer any loss in the incident.
The 15-second video begins with the shopkeeper conversing with the customer while attempting to remove the mobile phone’s battery. The phone, however, exploded, creating a massive ball of fire. Immediately, the shopkeeper dropped the mobile, and the customer ran away from the spot to escape the blast.
The owner also advised mobile users that if the phone becomes swollen, it should be checked at a shop immediately to avoid mishaps. Whether the smartphone is new or old or even the name of the brand, for that matter, is still unknown. However, it is said that the mobile phone battery was bloated while repairing the handset.
