Sony has declared that its PS Plus Collection will be removed as a benefit of the PS Plus subscription on May 9, 2023. The 19 games that are currently in the collection will not be available for free in a few months. So it is recommended to redeem them all before removal. The PlayStation Plus Collection was first announced as an addition to PS Plus in October 2020.

By redeeming these games now, the user will retain access to them for as long as he maintains a PS Plus subscription at any tier. Luckily, many of these games are included with a PS Plus Extra subscription.
The removal of PlayStation Plus Collection has been announced through an official blog post. Sony says that it will continue to grow its PS Plus library of Monthly Games and Games Catalog. Sony also announced in the blog post that in February there will be four new monthly games for PS Plus
The PlayStation Plus Collection allowed PS5 console owners to play a curated selection of PS4 games. The collection originally included Persona 5, but it was removed in May 2022.
