Thirty-four plus years of building Cache Digitech has taught me one enduring truth: technology is never the real story. The real story is about the businesses we transform, the risks we help eliminate, and the trust we earn—one commitment at a time. As we enter the Cache 2.0 era, I want to share not just where the market is heading, but how we intend to lead it.

Future of India’s IT Landscape
India’s IT industry is at a genuine inflection point. What is different today is the convergence of AI, cloud maturity, and cybersecurity. AI is moving from proof-of-concept to production at speed, cloud architectures have become trusted by even regulated industries, and cybersecurity has become a board-level imperative rather than an IT department concern.

At the same time, regulatory developments such as the DPDP Act and evolving cybersecurity mandates are pushing organisations to bring greater accountability to technology adoption. For Cache Digitech, this is precisely the moment we have been positioning for. With over 30 years of expertise across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, cloud, and AI, backed by a 24x7 NOC and SOC, we are not catching up to this wave—we are well-positioned to help customers navigate and benefit from it. Our expansion beyond India reflects our intent to take these capabilities to a broader global customer base as well.

Customer Readiness for Digital Transformation

One thing I have learned from hundreds of customer conversations is that organisations are rarely as ready for transformation as leadership believes, and rarely as unprepared as IT teams fear. The gap is almost never about technology. It is about people, processes, and the organisational willingness to change how work actually gets done.
The most common pitfall I see is what I call “digital decoration”—layering new technology on top of legacy processes and calling it transformation. A company that automates a broken workflow is simply failing faster. At Cache Digitech, we begin with a readiness conversation, not a product conversation. This philosophy is reflected in our Cache CareStack™ offerings, which are designed to meet customers at different stages of their transformation journey rather than forcing a one-size-fits-all approach. We focus on understanding leadership alignment, cultural dynamics, and change-management appetite because transformation that lasts must be owned by the customer, not delivered at them.

Standing Out in an AI-Driven Market

Every IT services company today claims to be an AI company. Every presentation includes generative AI, and every proposal talks about machine learning. The noise is extraordinary, making it increasingly difficult for customers to distinguish genuine capability from marketing positioning.
Our answer is deliberate differentiation. We are not deploying AI as a badge; we are embedding it where it creates measurable operational leverage. Whether through AI-Ops, security automation, or industry-specific solutions built with hyperscaler ecosystems, our focus is on real outcomes. More importantly, our differentiation is not just technological—it is human. We have anchored Cache Digitech around OT/ICS-ready infrastructure, hyperscaler-led ecosystems, and AI-driven security because these are the areas where our experience creates a defensible and meaningful position. We see ourselves as AI-fluent partners who augment human judgment rather than replace it.

Investments & Strategic Partnerships
The temptation in a high-growth market is to spread bets widely. In my experience, that is exactly the wrong instinct. The organisations that will navigate the next phase of disruption successfully are those that make focused, conviction-led investments.
For Cache Digitech, that means concentrating on AI-led automation, resilient infrastructure, and ecosystem partnerships. We continue to invest in AI-Ops, Security Automation, and FinOps while strengthening capabilities around OT/ICS-ready infrastructure and hybrid environments. Equally important are our alliances with Cisco, Dell, Fortinet, Broadcom, Wiz.io, Red Hat, IBM, Trellix, AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud.
What excites me most about Cache 2.0 is our ecosystem ‘swarm’ model—bringing together our strengths with those of hyperscalers, ISVs, and Indian startups to deliver integrated, outcome-driven solutions. This is how we intend to scale, create long-term value, and progress towards our $500 million revenue aspiration by 2030.

Building Long-Term Customer Trust
I will be direct: the managed services industry continues to face a trust challenge. At times, the industry has focused more on contracts and renewals than on long-term customer outcomes, leaving customers feeling managed rather than genuinely partnered.
Everything about Cache 2.0 is designed to invert that dynamic. The shift I am asking our organisation to make is from a supplier mindset to a co-owner mindset. That means understanding not just a customer’s technical requirements, but also their business priorities, regulatory concerns, and strategic objectives. It means identifying risks before customers discover them and having the courage to provide honest advice even when it is not the easiest commercial decision.
Credibility is built through consistency, transparency, and accountability. Ultimately, the $500 million target is not what drives me. What drives me is building the company that India’s CIOs trust most—the partner they point to when asked who truly transformed alongside them. That is the Cache Digitech I am building. The strongest signals of partnership are often the most subtle—when a customer calls us before issuing an RFP, includes us in strategic planning discussions, or seeks our perspective on critical business decisions. Those are the moments that demonstrate trust has moved beyond a contract and evolved into a genuine partnership.
