Deepinder Goyal, founder of Eternal Ltd and the visionary behind Zomato, transformed a startup launched in 2008 into one of India’s most influential digital consumer platforms. An IIT Delhi alumnus and former Bain consultant, he led Zomato through its landmark stock market listing in 2021 and expanded its ecosystem through the acquisition of Blinkit, which emerged as a key growth engine. In 2026, after 18 years at the helm, Goyal stepped down as Group CEO to pursue new ventures in aerospace and health technology while continuing as Vice Chairman. He is widely recognized as a Technology Icon reshaping India’s digital economy.
