Apple’s new iPad Pro, powered by the M5 chip with a 10-core CPU and GPU, delivers major AI and graphics gains, supports Wi-Fi 7, features a brilliant OLED display, and runs advanced tools on iPadOS 26
Apple has launched its most powerful iPad to date — the all-new iPad Pro equipped with the next-generation M5 chip. Boasting major advances in artificial intelligence, graphics, and wireless connectivity, the device is designed to push the boundaries of what professionals can do on a tablet.
The M5 chip introduces a faster Neural Engine with AI performance up to 3.5 times higher than the previous M4 model, and 5.6 times faster than the M1-based iPad Pro. It features a 10-core CPU and GPU for intensive workflows like 3D design, video production, and high-performance gaming. Apple’s latest N1 chip also supports Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 6, while the new C1X modem delivers improved cellular speeds with reduced power consumption.
Next-gen display, AI tools, and performance boosts
Available in 11-inch and 13-inch versions, the new iPad Pro features an Ultra Retina XDR display powered by tandem OLED technology. The screen reaches up to 1600 nits of peak brightness for HDR content and includes options for nano-texture glass to minimise glare in bright environments.
Running on iPadOS 26, the tablet introduces advanced multitasking tools, on-device Apple Intelligence features, and smoother file management. AI-assisted tasks like video masking in DaVinci Resolve or image generation in creative apps are now significantly faster and more accurate.
The device also supports up to 150GB/s of unified memory bandwidth, with storage speeds twice as fast as its predecessor. Fast charging is supported, delivering up to 50% battery in just 30 minutes when paired with a 70W USB-C adapter.
