Why is rahul Gandhi meeting to Twitter CEO?

Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey on his first visit to India has gone to meet Congress President Rahul Gandhi in New Delhi and it is reported that the two have discussed several issues including fake news.
Gandhi has tweeted that Jack has explained some of the steps being taken to keep Twitter healthy and tackle the menace of fake news. Rahul has called Dorsey a really interesting and fun guy to meet and they have also talked about all sorts of stuff from fake news to new emerging technologies - from cryptocurrency to Vipassana.
The Twitter CEO later took part in a town hall meeting at the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi. He had met His Holiness Dalai Lama and traveled to Jaipur before meeting Gandhi. Following his arrival in India, Dorsey has remarked that it is his first time here after a lifetime of wanting to experience it.
The meeting between Gandhi and Dorsey holds significance as Twitter has become one of the prime social media tools after Facebook and WhatsApp when it comes to spreading fake news.
According to the report, Dorsey also expects to meet Union IT minister Ravi Shankar Prasad in the wake of the growing criticism over Twitter's role in the spread of misinformation and fake news as India faces assembly polls in five states ahead of the general election next year.
