Lumina CloudInfra (“Lumina”), a data center platform owned by Blackstone’s Real Estate and Tactical Opportunities funds, held a groundbreaking ceremony to mark the beginning of constructions at its first hyperscale data center campus. This site sits at the heart of Navi Mumbai in Airoli and consists of data center buildings that are expected to exceed 60 megawatt of critical IT load.

Anil Reddy, Global Chief Executive Officer & Co-Founder, Lumina, said: “The groundbreaking of our first data center is an important milestone for Lumina and India’s digital journey. The Lumina platform builds on the team’s experiences combined with the success of Blackstone’s strong track record in data infrastructure and shares the commitment of bringing innovative opportunities to investors and consumers around the world including in India.”
