A couple's reality show, Smart Jodi began recently that has Bhagyashree and Himalaya, Ankita Lokhande - Vicky Jain, Neil Bhatt - Aishwarya Sharma, Natalya Ilina - Rahul Mahajan, Arjun Bijlani - Neha Swami, Balraj Syal - Deepti Tuli, S Srikanth - Vidya and others as the contestants.
While Maniesh Paul is the host, the reality show has no judges. The first week of the show was quite interesting and we saw the contestants introducing themselves. The couples also spoke about their love stories, while a few had some emotional stories to share.
In the second week of the show, there was the wedding special episode where the contestants were all dressed up in their wedding attire. They wore the same outfits they wore at their wedding and got to relive their special moment again.
In the episode, there were some hilarious revelations made by Rahul Mahajan.
Rahul and his wife Natalya Illina performed to Kareena Kapoor's Bole Chudiyaan song from Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. Post that, Rahul revealed he got married secretly because he didn't want his marriage with Natalya to end like his previous ones. He felt that his previous weddings happened on national television and hence maybe a few people might have had evil eyes on his relationship.
He also said that the pandit on his wedding said that his 'kundali' and Natalya's 'kundali' have matched well and their marriage will be safe. He mentioned that his wedding was so private that he has very few pictures from his special day. A few pictures from his wedding were shown on the show.
On Rahul's request, Maniesh also showed a picture of his mother-in-law.
In the picture, Rahul's mother-in-law was seen sitting beside a young and handsome man. On asked who was the man, Rahul revealed that he was his would be father-in-law but they have now broken up. This left everyone surprised and they laughed. Rahul also said that his would be father-in-law is younger than Natalya as well.
Maniesh and the other contestants were shocked and Rahul said, "Shaukin saas hai meri. Usme kya hai?"
He revealed that his mother-in-law's boyfriend is 19 years younger than her. This made everyone laugh.
