Nagarjuna Akkineni to host Bigg Boss Telugu OTT

Bigg Boss Telugu OTT is going to be hosted by Nagarjuna Akkineni. In an official press interaction with media, the channel airing the show along with the popular video streaming service, has announced Bigg Boss Telugu OTT along with the array of their new web series set to be streamed soon.
The digital version of the popular reality TV series in Telugu is going to be different from its television counterpart, stated the makers. It is going to be streamed 24x7 on the video streaming service and host Nagarjuna will guide the contestants in weekend episodes with a cumulative input of their performance during the week. Nagarjuna has already announced in the grand finale of Bigg Boss Telugu 5 that the next season will start in a couple of months. Further details about its launch, format, and contestants are expected to be revealed soon.
Host Nagarjuna said, "I was initially apprehensive before stepping into Bigg Boss. But I'm an avid follower now. I used to watch the show and make notes of it. It was a great experience indeed. It was very satisfying when I was told by contestants that Bigg Boss has been a life-changing experience for them."
Alok Jain, the EVP & Head of the channel airing the show, said, "Nagarjuna is one of the most humble and exciting people to work with. Thank you sir. The Television version of the show will remain. It will continue to entertain. We are trying to bring a new format and we are working on the creative aspects now. Keep looking for an exciting update on this front."
For the unversed, Bigg Boss OTT in Hindi was hosted by filmmaker and producer Karan Johar. With the theme "Stay Connected", the show provided the audiences a chance to decide the tasks, punishments, and eliminations of the contestants. The debut season of Bigg Boss OTT that concluded in September crowned Divya Agarwal as the winner. The Telugu version already had an unseen version being streamed on the OTT platform with exclusive content from Bigg Boss Telugu.
