HMD Global has announced to launch new smartphones Nokia 2.4 in India. The Nokia 3.4, however, might arrive later if it is a part of the company’s plans for India.
The Nokia 2.4 was launched in Europe for EUR 119, which translates to roughly Rs 10,250. This means that the price for Nokia 2.4 in India will be somewhere between Rs 10,000 and Rs 11,000. The official information will be out when the company announces the price at today’s event. The Nokia 2.4 comes in Fjord, Dusk, and Charcoal colours.
The Nokia 2.4 comes with a 6.5-inch 720p display with a waterdrop notch at the top. This screen has an aspect ratio of 20:9. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P22 processor paired with up to 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, which is expandable up to 512GB via a microSD card. The smartphone runs on Android 10 out of the box but can be upgraded to Android 11.
The Nokia 2.4 has dual cameras on the rear comprising a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor, accompanied by an LED flash. There is a 5-megapixel camera for selfies housed inside the notch.
The Nokia 2.4 houses a 4,500mAh battery with a Micro-USB port for charging. It also has a 3.5mm audio jack. The smartphone weighs 189g and measures at 165.87x76.30x8.69mm.
At this price, the Nokia 2.4 will compete with Narzo 20, Redmi 9 Prime, Oppo A12, and Motorola Moto G9 among others. Apart from the specifications, the Nokia 2.4 will bring stock-like Android experience along with regular updates and firmware updates, gaining it an edge over other models.
