C Vijayakumar is the President & Chief Executive Officer of HCL Technologies, a US$ 6.7 billion global IT services company. Vijay leads HCL Technologies with a team of over 111,000+ professionals in 32 countries helping customers reimagine their businesses. Driving growth and transformation in an age of connected assets and connected experiences, Vijay is responsible for devising a robust strategy, overseeing meticulous execution and guiding enduring partnerships.
Vijay joined HCL Technologies in 1994 as a member of the core team that designed and implemented India’s first ever fully automated trading network at the National Stock Exchange. Vijay is deeply interested in promoting sustainable business practices in the communities where HCL operates in, with an emphasis on advancing STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) learning for the youth and is also a passionate champion of the Diversity and Gender empowerment agenda. Vijay is a graduate in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from P.S.G. College of Technology, Tamil Nadu.
