Nvidia and South Korea’s LG Group are expanding their partnership across humanoid robotics, AI factories and mobility, bringing together Nvidia’s AI computing capabilities with LG’s manufacturing, robotics and engineering expertise. Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang confirmed the collaboration after meeting LG Group Chairman Koo Kwang-mo in Seoul.

A major focus will be humanoid robots. Nvidia and LG are working on motor technologies and mechanical systems, while LG plans to use Nvidia’s robotics platform to train and improve its next generation of intelligent machines. The partnership reflects the accelerating convergence of generative AI, physical AI and industrial automation.

The collaboration gained further momentum when Nvidia Senior Director of Product Marketing Madison Huang, who is also the daughter of Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang, met executives including LG Electronics CEO Lyu Jae-cheol and LG CNS CEO Hyun Shin-gyoon. Nvidia and LG representatives also toured LG Electronics’ new data factory in Seoul.

The 10,000-square-meter facility is expected to operate around the clock and deploy hundreds of LG CLOiD humanoid robots. The robots will perform industrial tasks such as moving, stacking and assembling components within a manufacturing environment modeled on LG’s Tennessee washing-machine plant.

LG expects the facility to generate around 100,000 hours of robotics data by year-end. That information will be combined with Nvidia’s robotics technologies to strengthen LG’s Robot Foundation Model—the AI intelligence responsible for helping robots perceive, learn and perform physical tasks.

The broader significance goes beyond robotics. By collaborating across robotics, AI factories and mobility, Nvidia and LG are demonstrating how AI is moving from data centers into the physical world. The next technology race will increasingly be about Physical AI—machines that can perceive, reason and act autonomously in real-world environments.
