Ashneer Grover plans to launch ZeroPe app

Ashneer Grover, former Managing Director and co-founder of BharatPe, is gearing up for his second venture into the banking space with the app ZeroPe. It is reported that according to its Google Playstore listing, Third Unicorn is the developer of ZeroPe, is now under testing.
The ZeroPe app, in collaboration with Delhi-based Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) Mukut Finvest, would provide immediate pre-approval for medical loans up to Rs 5 lakhs. The ZeroPe app website states that the service is only available at affiliated hospitals.
app will provide an easy experience with loans, give timely EMI notifications, and easy payment services in few clicks. To get loans from the app, customers need to establish their accounts and complete the KYC process.
Ashneer Grover along with his wife Madhuri Jain Grover and entrepreneur Aseem Ghavri formed the Third Unicorn in January 2023. The entity began with fantasy gaming platform, CrickPe, and raised $3.5 million in a seed round, which was dominated by ZNL Growth Fund and saw participation from Vevek Ventures Investments and Rishaayu LLP.
ZeroPe promises immediate loan disbursal after KYC verification and promises the customer to retain the choice for selecting the loan and repayment mode.
