Dell Technologies and Alienware roll out Alienware Aurora R16 Desktop in India
By MYBRANDBOOK
Dell Technologies and Alienware launched the new Alienware Aurora R16 desktop in India. Featuring a refined and streamlined design, the Alienware Aurora R16 is available with 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core processors and up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU. The new desktop ushers in acoustic and thermal improvements, alongside a new space-saving design, optimizing its performance from the inside out. It includes optimized airflow, which leads to an average 20% quieter system, and temperature drops of up to 10% for the CPU and 6% for the GPU. Further, the Aurora R16 has a 40% reduced total volume than the R15, making it the perfect choice for anyone searching for a hassle-free, plug-and-play, elite gaming experience. All of these benefits are attributed to the Legend 3.0 design, which debuts in desktop form for the first time on Aurora R16.
Commenting on the launch, Pujan Chadha, Director for Product Marketing, Consumer and Small Business, Dell Technologies India, said, “Staying true to Alienware's legacy of innovation and premium performance, we continue revolutionizing the desktop experience with the Aurora R16. This desktop is an engineering marvel that not only broadens our gaming arsenal but also makes the Alienware Aurora more accessible to the consumers while creating new opportunities for a wider range of players because of its pricing, efficient design and improved ventilation.”
Designed to stay cool
The Alienware Aurora R16 has a refreshed design to increase airflow efficiencies while retaining the essence of Alienware's distinctive Legend styling. This is made possible by the Stadium loop, the oval lighting loop that is visible on the left side of the chassis. The Stadium loop traces the main vent, which provides a larger air intake, and these design cues make the side of the new Aurora seem like the primary feature. This modifies the desktop perspective while preserving the general simplicity of the design. Together with larger side and top vents and better internal cable management, it has resulted in a quieter and cooler desktop.
Marathon gaming unlocked
The Aurora R16 exceeds the performance of its predecessor with equivalent configurations while boasting a significantly smaller design. The features not only imply compelling upgrades but also introduce the Aurora experience to many. Under the hood, here is what the Alienware Aurora R16 has to offer.
Up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4090 GPU
13th and 14th Gen Intel Core desktop processors
Wi-Fi 6 (or 6E) and 2.5Gbps Ethernet for both wired and wireless connections
Up to 32GB of 5600 MT/s DDR5 Memory
1TB of SSD Storage
80 Plus Platinum rated Power supplies (500W or 1000W)
Alienware luxury at your disposal
The Aurora R16 is also the first Alienware desktop to feature the new Alienware Command Center. This software provides gamers with swift access to essential settings like game-specific profiles, themes, lighting customization, macros, audio configurations, and more. Besides significantly enhancing gaming experiences, this hub also boasts an option for gamers to choose from a staggering 16.7 million colours, distributed across three lighting zones. Additionally, these preferences can be saved across the entire Alienware ecosystem, ensuring tailor-made experiences across gamer profiles.
The Aurora R16 desktop features the highest amount of post-consumer recycled plastics (56%) — more than any Alienware desktop in history — and is made with a minimum of 11% recycled steel5. The chassis ships in recyclable and renewable packaging that's better for the environment.
Pricing and availability (Inclusive of taxes)
The new Alienware Aurora R16 will be available for purchase at Dell.com, Dell Exclusive Stores (DES), Amazon.com and select multi-brand stores at a starting price of INR 159990.
