Raman is fondly referred to as the “Father of the Indian BPO Industry” and has played a pivotal role over the last 22 years in promoting BPM in general and in establishing India as a preferred destination for Remote Business Processing in the Flat World. Raman Roy is the Chairman and MD of Quatrro Global Services, a leading Business Process Management (BPM) and Knowledge Process Outsourcing (KPO) company focussed on pioneering innovative service offerings in the non-voice services space. Recently he has been appointed as the Chairman, NASSCOM. He was also appointed by the Indian Prime Minister’s Office to the Working Group tasked with developing recommendations to improve the supply of suitable talent to the IT & BPO industries. He is a recipient of several awards globally.
